Do you want one or not? Could call it the Ford Butthole for all I care.
“Took the ole Butthole for a spin around the block today.”:CWL:
I would pay good money to drive a Ford Butthole. I would just wait for someone to ask me about mileage. I would say "I have a ton of miles on my Butthole." Of course I would follow that statement with a Michael Scott timed "That's what she said".

Yes I'm eternally 14 years old. "That's what she..." Oh wait, no.

Unsurprisingly, Ford's taglines over the years work well with their latest model name:

"Have you driven a Ford Butthole lately?

"There's a Ford Butthole in your future."

"Built Ford Butthole tough"

"Ford Butthole: Go further."

And the one that came from Henry Not the Deuce himself:

"Don't experiment. Just buy a Ford Butthole."

@Jrgunn5150, I'm starting to think you need to trademark "Ford Butthole". I think we're coming up with good stuff here.

Because you're in the Gladiator vs section of the forum.
It's completely different and totally acceptable (to me) when forum members want to discuss and compare.

But when forum STAFF are posting it.... Just SCREAMS advertising & exposure. As I mentioned, I'm sure the forum got paid to do it. Not any different than all the other ads and vendors & stuff.

It's an affiliate forum per the first post.

This forum probably got paid nothing.

Ha!!!! Mom still has a ‘78 LTD sitting in her garage that belonged to our grandparents. It’s too big for her to drive so she just keeps it on a battery tender and gets someone to start it every now and again. We call it the Land Yacht. Tap the gas and the 460 is cruising at 70 easy. Just aim it down the road. Thing is AWESOME!!!!
My father had three of these when I was just a wee lad. Don't remember exactly what years they were. Between '76 and '78, I believe. The first one was faded banana yellow, No.2 was Robin's Egg blue, and the 3rd was a SH!T brown. He was very fond of my grandfathers Lincoln, but on a cop's salary (and my mom's spending habits), the LTD was as close as he was getting. I remember being about 12yo and being able to fully lay down in the back seat, with room to spare, with my Walkman, on the way to the cottage. If there was ever a car built for the submarine races, that was it!

Yep they big!! Grandparents got hit by an 18wheeler first year they had it. Repaired it and replaced the 460. Used it to tow a 28’ Prowler around the country for many years. This one is white with the green pleathery top.
