Hi everyone, I recently bought a gladiator sport and upgraded from a xj. Don’t miss that thing at all. I really hate the stock look on the truck. I’m getting some fuel ammo’s and looking to get 33x12.5 . Will I be able to clear them until I can afford a 2inch mopar lift? After the lift I’m looking for some 35’s. Let me know if anyone is running 33‘s on a stock sport. Thanks👍🏻 This is my first post, I’ll be asking more questions and re search as I build it more.

I just picked up my Overland Friday.
The street tires on those look horrible.
I had a set of GY duratrac 275/70/R18 on the stock wheels. They are just over 33" tall. I don't have a lift and don't plan on getting one.
They seem to have very little road noise.

Those look really good. I have a sport s (80th anniversary) same wheels. No lift. But I did install the teraflex leveling kit in the front. Debating 285/75/18 or 275/70/18. Are you happy with the size it do you think a 35 inch tire would be better.

33s on stock sport will definitely not be a problem. I purchased a set of Mojave take offs for my 20 Sport S. I've had no issues whatsoever. No lift, no leveling.

There's a difference between 33's and 275/285 etc. that you all are posting. 33's which are 33x12.50 is a good 1.5" to 2" wider than what has been posted so far. When on stock wheels with high (+) offset, rubbing will be an issue during turning. Height wise, you'll have no problem, but width wise might be an issue unless going with aftermarket wheels with a low offset.

Not all 33s are 12.5 wide. There are many options for tires that are considered 33s:

255/80R17 = 33.1x10R17
285/75R17 = 33.8x11.2R17
295/70R17 = 33.3x11.6R17
305/70R17 = 33.8x12R17
33X10.5R17 = 33X10.5R17
33X12.5R17 = 33X12.5R17
33X13R17 = 33X13R17
33X13.5R17 = 33X13.5R17
33X9.5R17 = 33X9.5R17

I did the same this weekend. No lift, no issues at all.

Seems kinda silly to spend money on 33s if you already know you are going to go with 35s. Why not just run 35s on the stock wheels and then just add your new wheels when you do the lift.

I've only had them for a few days but so far I like them. I don't know about the 35". For me this is the look I wanted. Little bigger and more aggressive.

I went with 35's out the gate, no lift, no aftermarket wheels. I knew the standard 12.5" wide wouldn't fit stock, so I went Kenda 35x10.5's
