Just ordered the sport with max tow. It has the steel wheels, can I put 35” tires with a mopar 2 inche lift? If so, which tires will fit? Thanks

You can run the the BFG KM3 or K02 but they really like a wider rim. The TFL guys are running KM3 35x12.5 on the stock spare wheel. Looks great but technically out of spec.

Nice. I guess the reason why I am asking is because I have funds right now to get the mopar lift and a set of tires that are 35x12.5x17 hoping to run these tires temporarily until I can buy some 17x9 wheels. just wanted to know if its safe and if it will rub at all if I dont run any spacers. thanks for the video.

You shouldn’t have any issues with the Mopar 2” lift. I would ask your tire person about the stock rims. I decided to run the older KM 2 in the y’all skinny 255/80/17. I wish I had done the 35x12.50 now.

If cost is a concern, have you thought about buying a used Rubicon setup? Guys are selling their suspensions (here, CL, Offerup, etc.) pretty cheap and also you can snag a set of Rubi wheels/tires for a good price as well. That can buy you time to save up for a setup you like.

With the Tow Package, I believe the general consensus is to keep your rear Max shocks over the Rubi's, but there's plenty on info on this board on the proper setup (when switching from Sport S to Rubi).

Rig looks good. I wonder if your setup would have rub at all on the front airdam with the original front bumper. for sure wont be changing my front sport bumper any time soon unless I can find the rubicon steel bumper for a good price.

I lucked out up in Boone NC. RubiTrux has take offs all the time and gave me a great cash deal on bumper, steel skid plate and rock rails.

My 285/75-17 Is a 34.1” tall vs the ~34.6” of a 35 but they’re like 11-11.5 wide so they fit perfectly on the stock 17x7.5

Wheels are the exact same spec, just steel vs AL. Only rubbing was the filler piece between the front bumper and fender. Took those out and now nothing.

35” tires will fit with no problem. This is my Max tow with the Mopar lift & 315/70/17 Bfg’s On stock Rubicon wheels.
