2024 texas trail- factory WILLY suspension.. same as the old red rubicon springs and shocks..
Already installed
1.5" tera flex leveling kit
2" hub centric wheel spacers
Don't like the rake. And wanted some poke out.
So, i can't stand these 32" km2 in inclination weather. They are horrible in the rain otherwise no complains, but 85% of my driving is done on the highway and 15% to remote jobsites and or overlanding. I don't need the mud tires, but don't want the general AT so I'm going with an RT.
DILEMMA... don't want a 12.5 because I'd prefer to keep my factory wheels, so 11.5 it is. So 315 or 35. I currently have 6" of clearance between the top of the current 32" and the lip of the fender..I do have plans of lifting late in the year.

CAN I run a 35" tire with what i have done now...??? No major articulation just muddy back roads on the occasion, without any major rubbing..I also don't want to send the fender flying if I happen to get into a deep hole on one side..

The Gladiator is otherwise stock with only maybe 100-150lbs of tools, overlanding gear...i don't carry an rtt or rack system...and whatnot in the bed...
WHAT is the difference of a load range C and a D? The ride with the KM2 load range C, is pretty decent. Will the load range D make it feel more planted, less body roll? I know the sidewall is stiffer on the D, but I DO NOT want to suffer ride quality over anything else.. TOO much time on the hwy and in the seat to be jarring around

Any help out of this rabbit hole would be appreciated.. thanks and sorry if this has been asked 1 million times, but most relate to pavement princess and I'm more of a dirty joke 😃

I ran 37s on a 2” spacer up front with no issues until I decided to lift it. You’ll be just fine. Went from 32” minivan tires straight to mud terrains. When those wore out I went to the Toyo Open Country RT Trail and I love it. Been through the snow all the way to Moab and never had any problems. My wife runs load C Patagonias, and my Toyos are load E I believe. We have the same shocks and hers actually feels a little stiffer than mine, but I think it’s because her lift has 5k miles and mine has 45k miles. I can’t tell any difference in tires.

I ran 32" Load Range E's on my stock P4x Frontier just because they were on clearance sale when I went to get new LT General Grabbers AT's. Not because I carry heavy loads, which is what these load ranges are made for. You will likely feel a bit of the rotational mass of the heavier thicker sidewalls and tread when accelerating/cornering, but feel way more "planted" on the road. I ran the psi a bit lower than C's for a better ride as they don't flex as much on the stiff sidewalls. I got them because I drive on sharp gravel roads and they can help with puncture resistance.

315 is 12.5 wide. Look for 35x11.50. I love my Wildpeak R/T but the Toyo’s are good too.
I agree with Wild Peaks however, if I'm correct in assuming, the Toyo Open Country's are 61 lbs. as compared to the Wild Peak's 66.84 lbs. To me, I think the Toyos would be the best for the weight difference alone.

Question: If 315 = 12.5, would that mean the 285 would be 11.5? If not, what would = 11.5?

Bro, if you are currently hooked up to your RV, I'm very impressed with the seemingly no or very little rear squat. If not currently hooked up, did you perform any sort of suspension upgrade to pull such a unit with the cushy, stock Fox's?

It has bags on the rear and it’s hooked up.

I'm running the toyo open country at3 in 35x11.50 and love em. I kept the stock wheels and wanted to keep the weight as close to the 32s it came with. No noticeable difference in ride or take off. Can't say any change in body roll is gonna be felt with going to a d or heavier tire but it will more than likely ride more harsh.

Oh, got it! I was thinking about researching the Timbrens and will most likely perform a search here down the road if I decide to haul some sort of trailer up to about 4-5K. I have Timbrens on my Ram 2500 CTD and haul a 35' Jayco toy hauler and they are stellar.

I have 315 70 17 KO2's load range E. Because Discount screwed up and put those on. I wanted C's and that's what was paid for. The installer just grabbed the wrong ones. Long story short.....I thought they would be too stiff, but they ride just fine.
