Has anyone put 35s On their stock rims? Or is it better just upgrade to aftermarket rims?

If this with stock suspension also?
Completely stock suspension. I do think it requires a Rubicon to fit them due to the higher fenders. Plenty of room to flex. Will test it out at Rausch Creek soon.

Here you go. 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock Rubicon wheels.

Did you notice a difference in power? Those are about 72lbs IIRC

I’d love to see a shot straight down the Jeep to see if they stick out past the flares if you’ve got one

Minimal. I only drove it for about 300 miles with the stock tires but really didn’t see any noticeable difference with the upgrade.

looks great!
I want to do the same (if my JL ever gets built!, 5 weeks and still D!) and have a few questions.
They look wider than stock tires, which I like.
what size would I look up exactly when shopping?
if wider, The tire installer didn't give any grief?
Can I ask about how much these cost, wondering what the difference will be for me.
expecting to sell stock tires only for 5-600.
maybe 500 difference?
Thanks!!

Yes they are wider. 35x12.5R17. Very typical size for 35s. No issues installing on stock wheels. I paid $1100 at discount tire direct for 4 of them (picked up a used 35 for free as the spare) and sold my stock tires for $600. With the Gladiator the spare runs on a different wheel so you wouldn’t rotate in like you do on a Wrangler so no reason to spend on a new tire for spare.

Not sure if there is an option for the same wheel or not but yes my Rubicon with nearly every option has a different wheel for a spare.

That was a good price for the grapplers.
