Just checking to see if anyone has a similar set up, or thoughts on my set up with 39's.
Currently running 2" Mopar with 1.5" TF spacer in front, along with chop fender and AAL's. Currently have 37" km3 that only measure 35.25" under weight, and everything I've seen posted, the 39" measure around 37".
Based on my measurements with tires stuffed, they should fit fine. Any other thoughts?
Wheels are 17x9.5 BR Armory -18.

You might need an additional 1" of bump stop spacer. I just depends on how you will use it and how much flex you have.

I doubt it.

I've got the mopar 2 inch on 37" KM3s and there is at least 3" of clearance at full stuff and I've got quite a bit more backspacing than OP does. I'd imagine that with a fender chop and the Mopar lift, we are leaving a solid 5-6" of travel on the table.

The truck is sitting on bumpstops front and rear in these pictures.

I've got the full Rock Krawler adventure pro control arm kit on order. When they finally come in, I am going to be tuning my bumpstops and ordering some custom length Radflo shocks to maximize droop/stuff.

Edit: Looking at these pictures, I bet there's more like 4-5 inches of up travel that is being left on the table and I would be willing to bet there is 2-3 inches of droop that we are missing out on too.

I had a friend with a JL running the 39" KM3s on a Clayton 2.5" lift, with fender chop. He had a little rubbing, but his shocks were probably longer, allowing for more articulation. It will probably just require testing and adjustment.

I was playing on a rock pile yesterday after getting the fender chop done over the weekend too, lol, and you are correct. I think there's plenty left on the table.
For reference in my pic, the jt next to me has 2" mopar, 1 peice fenders, and his Nittos are a full inch taller than mine, and look at the clearance difference.

When I flexed mine, I had about 2-3" of space bt the bumpstop, and a good 5+" left in the front fender well. Back had plenty of room as well.

Yeah, I'd imagine the shocks in the Clayton kit are better set up than the Fox shocks on the Mopar lift. They ride great but they definitely didn't try to squeeze the maximum amount of articulation out of them and they certainly weren't considering chopped fenders when they were putting everything together.

Yeah, for sure. Once I get my suspension tuned, I think the amount of articulation at a low(ish) ride height is going to be incredible.

My plan is to never go any higher with the suspension but get it just perfectly dialed with enough room upward for the 39s. I'd rather get an extra inch of lift from tires to get those diffs even higher off the ground.

To be fair though, it actually did shockingly well in the rocks a few weeks ago. Had to use the sliders to get around some tight corners with the longer wheel base but other than that, never noticed it.

How did you sliders hold up? Looks like they are the RSE power steps? I have same set up.

They did great. I am definitely going to get the extra skin for them though. I dropped the entire weight of the truck on one and can see a very slight bow in the opening where the steps reside.

so I flexed mine out with a tow motor today, and didn’t get what I expected. Front tire was 19” off the ground when rear bump stop hit. Tires no where near stuffed in front or back? Sway bar was connected. Any thoughts on getting more flex? It’s almost like the rear bump stop is too long? Front lifted side had about 3” clearance from bump stop.

You need to test with your front swaybar disconnected… your swaybar is limiting your flex.

here’s mine with being disconnected on an rti ramp

I have the metalcloak 3.5” gamechanger with falcon 3.3 shocks(longest length)
I found out that it’s my shock length in the rear that limits me currently from full extensions in the rear axle and yes my bumpstops back there is limiting some travel up… I’m planning by summer to split my fenders and do the American adventure labs led fender brackets so I can remove a bumpstop to get more up travel.

Yes, the sway bar needs to be disconnected. Also remember that a tire will continue up into the wheel well after that side hits the bump stop as the opposite side continues to drop to the point of full extension.

I will second what the guys above are saying. You've got to have that swaybar disconnected to really see what you can get.
