Man I wish I knew how to interpret that haha, basically they are putting out 25 Model year for a couple months longer, we should start seeing orders for MY 26 opening up in the next month or so then I guess.
TK Garage doesn't know how to interpret it either. Or ever see it.

But yes, the 25 my run has been extended

Thanks of the info! I do find it fascinating. As someone waiting for the MY 26 to be announced before ordering one, I find it all really interesting.

To read all that, there are no new powertrain options on line for the 26 JT. It will be colors/packages.

I would anticipate the order books opening within 2-3 weeks, but I'm not involved in that level of factory/dealer production planning.

The way I read this there’s no clues as to whats the powertrain in the 26 Grand Cherokee. Corporations and their damn abbreviations. My company is just as bad!

I made the stupid mistake of suggesting to my wife that "guess what color may be coming back to Wrangler in 26?
She asked - and I said - your favorite - PURPLE (reign)
So, now I'm stuck watching the colors for the future Wranglers as she compromised on her existing Jeep as there were none available with some of the stuff she wanted, and the power seats are on her "get ASAP" list.
I had to mention it. I should know better!

Source: Jeep Gladiator 392 V8 Confirmed, Wrangler 392 Continuing Indefinitely

On Thursday, at a media briefing Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said the 392 cubic inch V8 engine will be leveraged in the Jeep lineup followed by, “Wrangler and Gladiator fans, and Hemi fans in general, don’t worry.”
After this announcement, it’s unlikely any Jeep fans are resting, as some might be hyperventilating. Who’s ready for a four-door pickup with removable doors, roof, and a huge V8 engine? Prepare your bank accounts.
Broderdorf said “after being out at the Rubicon Trail, it’s clear just how much people love the roar of the 392.” It’s worth noting, people traverse the Rubicon Trail at slow speeds, which means no engines are roaring.
“The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 will have a home at Jeep,” Broderdorf said.

I'm going to Standby for updates from AMW and their new warehouse in Michigan. If Jeep ACTUALLY Offers a 392 Package they might adopt it as a more budget friendly swap. Their current models utilize factory engines from different platforms that they need to swap belt drive and accessories around as well as transmissions to fit. Hopefully these options would allow them to shave a few bucks as an offering that's not $30k-$40k.

It would be ideal if Jeep would also update their 392's for the Gladiators with some HP/TQ for the extra weight. The factory 470 HP / 470 TQ is definitely a beast compared to stock 3.6's. Possibly tweak the head/intake design or cams for some low end grunt and road worthy performance into the low 500 range it would tote the Gladiators with all our racks/ bed conversions, etc and still yank a trailer at freeway speeds. The factory 3.6 with 285 HP & 260 TQ just wasn't a fit.

Our old YJ flexed pretty damn good for being SPRUNG UNDER leaf springs…..We had ford shock towers, and 1” body lift to help with ’stuff’

I’ve seen many guys with Tacoma solid axle swaps that ran sprung over …and those things flexed like crazy!!!

Besides…. Who cares about suspension travel when you’ve got lockers. 😆
I had a YJ that also articulated pretty good on leaf springs, but beat the hell out me driving down the road. I only had to buy one beer, it would foam up in my stomach and turn into a six pack while driving. Saved me lot of money! 😂

Yep gotta keep that rear end from rolling.
I'd get maybe about 30 mph, hit the gas half-way or so and break both tires loose. It was risky driving when you really needed to hit the gas for any reason.
I needed a way to make the thing hook up when hitting the gas.

Make it ride rougher ?? Always wondered about those things 🤔 I had some excess 400 horse stuff but was heavier vehicles so not needed in my case
