Quick question, after reading through the entire thread I didn't see much mention of the airbag. Can anyone confirm that the stock airbag fit and secured properly in the new steering wheel?

Yes, it fits and mounts just like it does with the original wheel.

Re you guys disconnecting the battery for 20mins before playing with the airbag or living dangerous? Or is that an old myth?
I disconnected the main battery, but not sure how much it helped since the ESS battery was still connected.

Right?> I was thinking about that too......Which battery runs the system? I would think all the computers run off of the small battery, so maybe disconnecting the main dosen't do us any good?

Disconnect the battery and the ground on the fender next to it. That will disable power, and is a wise thing to do. It should be fine, but some of the engineering I have seen lately, I would not trust my life with it.

When I added aftermarket heated seats on my JL (4 years ago) I had no idea there were 2 batteries. I disconnected the main positive terminal and when I opened the door to get back in, I got the Jeep splash screen... <scratches head>... disconnected the negative terminal (why, I don't know)... still splash screen...

Did a search on the forums...

Realized the easiest way is to disconnect the bundle of ground wires next to the TIPM on the fender.

Solved!

The Internet is a wonderful thing ?

I just ordered the parts. Very excited to have the Gladiator wheel be a little more like our Hellcat and SRT Durango wheel with paddle shifters! Will make towing much more fluid! Any info anyone can provide on the screw covers part numbers would be appreciated...

I’ve read through all the posts, looked at all the photos. Does the 392 wiring have a connector for the adaptive cruise control? I don’t think it’s an available option on the 392 and therefore not be wired for it? Can anyone whose done this upgrade confirm one way or the other?

This is one of my favorite upgrades, and I have a few cool ones if I do say so myself.
I would have to agree. I have wanted my steering wheel to feel like thins since getting my truck. No mod that nobody else would notice has brought me more happiness.
