I went 5.13s. I've yet to see anyone who went 5.13 wish they had 4.88s but have found it the other way around where people with 4.88s wish they had gone 1 more step.
I absolutely love my 5.13s, I halved my 0-30 time, and finally have the torque to make every day driving and off roading with giant tires very palatable.
Mpg will be minimally affected either way as the engine is still putting out more or less the same amount of force for a specific speed. It could be slightly lower to slightly higher but you wont see a huge difference either way.
