Stopped to fill up in Denver, premium was 4.69!

Nope! Drove on until we found something in the $3.59 range.

And thanks all for input on the 4 gallons
I wouldn't be buying premium at any price..... just the cheap 87.

Anyone have a reason otherwise?

The premium was for the Mustang. I always buy top notch fuel for it. The jeep will get regular.

I believe I read somewhere that is because of the tank size. It's how fca denotes these size tanks I believe. Also I could be wrong but I don't think the dealer charging for gas would show up on the fca window sticker.
It's been on the build sheet of every new Jeep we've bought for years - it's not always the same number, and no, like someone said, it's NOT the dealer pulling crap LOL. If it's on the build sheet from the factory before the truck is even out the factory door - hardly a dealer thing.

It's on the build sheet - from the factory.

They must account for every nut, bolt, washer and ounce of transmission fluid - and fuel.

Then you’re not shopping around.
Typical price in Pasadena a couple days ago was about the $4.60 you said. I bought regular for $3.93 at Arco. I saw a no-name place had regular for $3.91.
Still too much…

Thank you. We're close.

I only buy gas from Chevron and Mobil. And only premium.
Unless I'm stuck somewhere and don't have a choice. I paid 55 grand for my JT... Not gonna go cheap on gas unless I have to.

Although my wife buys at Costco. And I hate lines.

As others have pointed out, you must not be here in California. Along the Interstates in SoCal you’re looking at or real close to $5 per gallon. Gotta pay for the California weather you know.
Only supposed to be in the 110’s this week. Lol. It’s a dry heat they say!

Ahhhh...the good ole days in the Stumps. My first duty Station was Okinawa and I lived in an open squad bay with cubicles and no AC, so coming from Louisiana I was fine with humidity and my clothes/boots having mold grow on them. Left Oki and went to MCAGCC "at the time anyway". People had to explain to me WTF a swamp cooler was and how it worked, LOL.

Oh and just to keep from Hi-jacking this thread completely, Ill even mention gas ...in TX at the time it around .90 cents :CWL:

1990-1993 timeframe....

LOL Get used to it! You live in Biden's America now. Remember, his first couple of days in office he shutdown the Keystone Pipeline and drove gas prices up to and over the $3 gallon mark!

Those who work have to pay for those who don't feel like working.

Whether by hook or crook, we got what's in the White House.

Crazy times. Good time to have a Jeep.

Yup. No better way to forget about all of our problems (even if for a little while) than riding around topless in the sunshine in the mountains away from all the assholes we have to live with in this country.
