Hi All,

New Jeep JT owner looking for recommendations for shops that you have used and would be your go to. I am starting out just with wheels, tires, bumper and light upgrades. Due to budget constraints tires and wheels first. I understand you have to reprogram the ECU? for the larger tires so the auto shifts correctly.

Not sure if a dedicated 4x4 shop is needed or just a place that can do the install, balance, alignment and tire size update.

Thanks in advance!

This is the place i have gone to few times. It takes a while to get an appointment and you would need to make sure they don't forget anything because they are super busy but they do a good job:

There’s nothing magic about Jeep wheels and tires that a regular tire shop can’t handle. Tire calibration; you can get a tazer or the like for similar to what a shop will charge you

Bumper is a pretty simple DIY job if that’s of interest to you; definitely the kind of thing you can manage in an apartment parking lot if you don’t have a garage or driveway

Other upgrades, hard to say

Not sure how far out you’re willing to go but WFO Concepts in Auburn is awesome. @WFOConcepts.

I think based on a few videos a Tazer is in my future! Thanks!

Can't say enough good things about Sacramento Offroad Solutions in Woodland, Ca. Rafael is great to talk to, and is a Jeep guy.
