Before I saw that thing I thought the curt echo was borderline dangerous (who hasn't had an app crash before). That really eases my concerns with it. Glad I went redarc though after how dissapointing the mopar one ended up being.
Maybe its the Apple platform or how i have my phone placed while driving but I really dont mind the whole app thing. But the button will certainly make it easier ad now i dont even need to have my phone attached to my windshield
With android auto I didn't even bother to do a mount in the JT. just plug it in and throw it in the console. great for as much as I am doorless as well.
Really!? Thats crappy...as far as ive seen so far not a single phone function is locked while using apple carplay.

No idea honestly if mine is “right” but with it i sit level, without im low in the rear. I feel like the sway bar helps with big trucks passing and such. My Echo is fantastic.
Some things work. Others will throw up an error. Screen will sometimes pop up saying that android auto is running. Its not terrible, but it is anoying. Specifically if I want to search for the maps quickly via my phone. even if maps are not running on android auto I can't launch it.
A little at first on a pretty windy day, but it wasn't by any means bad. I added the sway bar to the WDH and it feels better

That's not a Uconnect issue, that is designed in by Android. If the cable is connected so that Android Auto will run, Maps will not come up on the phone. If you send an address to Maps, or try to bring up directions, it will come up on the Map screen on Android Auto.
