How does the magnet hold up when off-road?I don’t have a 67 Design product. I use a BulletPoint.
I use this, but it’s a 17mm: Anker Car Mount Charger, PowerWave Magnetic Car Charging Mount with 4 ft USB-C Cable, 7.5W for iPhone 13 / 13 Pro / 13 Pro Max / 13 mini / iPhone 12 / 12 Pro / 12 mini (USB-C Car Charger Not Included) https://a.co/d/2MpW0QD
And I use this to go from 20mm to 17mm: 20mm Aluminum Ball to 17mm Ball Adapter. Compatible with Garmin and Other GPS Devices. https://a.co/d/cQRyhMt
I still need to install a USB outlet on top in the dash console to get rid of wires running down the dash/controls.
Installed it a few weeks back. Haven’t been off-road with it, but if your phone case doesn’t interfere with the magnet too much it’s probably about as good as any of the best out there. Mine hasn’t fallen off and we have some shotty roads in the DC area. How does the magnet hold up when off-road?
I’ve been using this with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I tried three other Carlinkit models and they were terrible. This one has a few quirks, but nowhere as terrible as the others I tried. I keep it plugged in inside the center console.I’m assuming the CarPlay doesn’t work?
