I've noticed some pumps make the tank burp and some don't.
It seems the ones that flow fast make it burp, though I have had it burp when on the slow setting as well. When I hear it coming up the fill tube I'll shut it off and trickle it in, if possible.
I need to check the vent tube, I had thought it was just the nature of this vehicle.
My JK never does it.
