There's a road, on the Tennessee/ North Carolina border.

An old goat path, then an Indian passageway.

Today it's called, "The Tail Of The Dragon"

Three Hundred And Eighteen turns, in Eleven miles.

An amazingly fun road, and dangerous, as there are accidents and deaths every year.

The line across the "Yr ddriag goch" on the OVERLORD is a representation of it.

I took a unique bike down to ride the Dragon.

Whilst I was there, slew it with the Gladiator as well.

I've driven that road in my TJ. Fun drive and kinda pretty in the short spans between paying attention to the next curve and other drivers.

A long story, the bike I took down, was given to me by a friend after he passed away.

This should scare everyone away from my posts, as I was dressed as Iron Man.

Now it's in a museum.

Epic trip.

I haven't been there since 2020. They moved ZDayZ to another location. So I quit going down. But want to go back some time soon. Just wish they get some cell phone towers in that area.

The one year, we stayed at the Tapoco Lodge (nice place!). We had a cabin up in the back. Wifey and me were sitting on the porch and watched momma and 3 little ones walk right past us.

I haven't been there since 2020. They moved ZDayZ to another location. So I quit going down. But want to go back some time soon. Just wish they get some cell phone towers in that area.

The only bike I haven't had on the Dragon yet is my DP. Maybe soon. Been down there a dozen times, or so.

The last time, stayed at the Deals Gap Resort, good folks great food, a bonfire every night. Took a walk at dusk. STOOOOOPID! Found what may be a service road to the resort, the maintenance sheds. Walked up the hill and found some old tennis courts. Nearby the dump for the resort. Thankfully, the two critters there were more interested in the dumpsters than me. Coulda been bad.

Been there with my Honda RC 51 from 2003 to 2007. The VFR from 2009 to 2013. Nismo from 2015 to 2020. Almost ended up on the Tree of Shame with the RC 51. Lost the front tire, but managed to save it. Went back to the cabin to pull my underwear out from my asshole.

I forget the number, I'll have to look at the maps again, there is a, one-way, unimproved road, that travels from the north, and ends on the Dragon. If I take the JEEP down again, I may try to find it. I heard it's not tough, a couple of stream crossings.
