ABS and traction control warning..

Hey all, new to this forum! Had my Gladiator Rubicon less than a month and today had all sorts of warnings lights and beeping go off on me. Stopped on the side of the road and turned off engine to reset. That didnt work, had to disconnect the battery for 10mins and use the manual lever to get it out of park to neutral to move it. Eventually after about an hour managed to get it going again as it wouldn't even start. Its back at the dealership now but wondering if anyone in the forum has experienced this before?

Sounds a lot like the ASS (auto start stop) battery failed. I know it's not an ASS battery but it's ASS that, that little battery failing can cripple our jeeps.

(Unfortunately, with more and more computer controlled stuff they put in auto's these days, seems these types of things are happening more and more...Yep, i am old school, grew up in the time 2001 a space odyssey movie came out. Hal (the commuter that took over the space ship has traumatized me for life ).

Thanks all for the comments. It turned out that there is a cable underneath where the battery is housed that came loose and was shorting out. This caused the 4WD system, ABS and traction control to go haywire. Jeep technicians were able to get it to fault again in the workshop, redo the cable and reset the system. Thankful that was all it was. Now I can get back to enjoying my gladiator! Someone asked if RHD in NZ… yep sure is! Wish we had more factory RHD American vehicles in NZ ??
