Finally got to see this in person and talk to the Accuair rep for a good 30min. First off, I've watched the YT videos and I'm impressed by the performance. I don't know why I'm not more skeptical of airbags and the potential of getting a deflated bag while out on an overland trip, but I'm not. It looks super robust and after seeing the system in action I really like the auto-leveling for my application. A few things that seemed slightly different in person vs "Eddy's" video is that the JT will sit at a 4" lift in setting 2 (ride height)... I thought Eddy mentioned a revised 4.5"in ride height? Also, the rep said as long as the truck is running it will auto-level vs driving 25mph to "reset" ride height. From looking underneath the Accurair truck, it retained both stock drive shafts vs the front aftermarket version in Eddy's video. This makes me happier to know that's one less expense with the kit. It also prompted me to ask an online question at Accuair's website (because I forgot to ask in person) what are the shock specifications for the JT? They responded with "the JT shock is a 2" shock body with a 27" extended length and a 17.5" compressed." I feel like these are good numbers for travel and within the front droop safety limits for an OEM driveshaft.

Overall I am really starting to reevaluate my current lift vs the Accuair setup.
If you go this route please post your impressions along the way. Eddy has nice videos but his reviews are 99%pros and at best 1% cons. I get more of a "i'm recommending this" vibe rather than "Here are the pros and cons" intention. It sounds like a pretty great system, I'm looking forward to hearing someone's less influenced impressions.

Good morning, @darkhorse13 ! I just bagged mine yo! LOLOLOL ? and I couldn't be happier! First pic is "all down" and my bride thanks me daily! I typically stay at ride height (Setting#2), unless I am traveling at high speeds with local wind advisories, etc. I select setting #1 for a more aerodynamic ride(i.e. stock but level)... Setting #3 is in the stratosphere and I have yet to go offroad to test this newfound level of lift! 5.5 inches even makes my 35's look small! Very Happy Jeeper over here!

Good questions! As a new AccuAir customer, I am probably close to 99% pros right now too. But, I am still learning the system and playing around with the settings. Like how much air pressure do I want to keep in my tank, do I really want my truck to automatically climb to ride height at ignition or remember my last setting, etc. I will post more as I learn more about my preferences.

Looks great! Did you have a shop do the install, or did you do it yourself? If shop, what kind of price was it for the install and were they a dealer, or did you buy and have them install? Thanks! I'm really close to pulling the trigger on this, just need to talk to my local shop and see if they can do it.

Thanks! Yes, I had a local shop recommended by AccuAir install my system. They did a great job and guaranteetheir work for life of the vehicle. The total labor was about 1 third of the system cost.

FYI, I bought my system from AccuAir directly and I am glad I did. Their Black Friday sale last year was too good to pass up. The system was on backorder for a very long time but at the discount, I could afford to wait.

Awesome that we have a resident Accuair owner to bother ask questions :) haha. First question for you... do the provided control arms have non-binding rubber bushings (like a Tera-Flex/Rock Krawler/Syngery Mfg) or are they similar to OEM where they have to be torqued on the ground at ride height because they are like OEM vulcanized rubber? Do they have any side to side flex like other aftermarket companies offer?

Holy moly setting #3 at 5.5in with 35's looks SO TALL. Please let us know your ride quality/comfort thoughts in setting #2 and #1 after you get some seat time. It can't ride any stiffer than my previous setup with Clayton Springs and Falcon 3.3's in soft mode... hopefully :)

Great question! They're non-binding. Due to the constant flex as you change ride heights, they could not use OEM material of construction.

Doh, makes complete sense... stupid question and thanks for response. Just glad to see they are non-maintenance style and not a johnny joint.

Ride comfort is extremely good for ride height setting. While more aerodynamic, setting 1is pretty stiff. Feels like performance struts on a old school Honda Prelude. LOLOLOL ? My stock Sport suspension on my High Altitude was more comfortable than setting 1. But auto level is amazing at all height settings and a real game changer!

Another game changer is having onboard air and still having storage space under my back seat.

BTW, I also had the shop install my dual steering stabilizer at the same time as my AccuAir System. That way, I fully benefited from their laser 4-wheel alignment.

What is your caster at "ride" setting? Curious what Accuair's fixed control arm lengths are giving as we know Gladiators love 5.5 or higher... I personally run 6.4 degrees on mine with ZERO issues.

Sorry the questions from me should be done for the day now.

Not sure about caster but I saw my control arm length in my documentation. I will need to investigate this to refresh my memory... Once I find out, I will reply again... Great technical questions! Keep'em coming!
