I have a Mojave and have had the diff skids and bow shackles powdercoated to match the orange. If the Rancho skids were not red, but black maybe, I would not have coated them. I bought orange valve caps and grab handles too. It is enough to make it noticeable but not enough to look cheesy.

I considered coating the factory skid on the front after adding a steel bumper but decided it would be too much. Same for the Hellwig anti sway bar.

Much more than this is too much for me, but to each their own. One great thing about a Jeep is that it is so easy to make it your own.

I went with blue, mainly tow hooks, dash, and vinyl border similar to the way Rubicon's are accented with their red.

Okay, I’ll start then. And I don’t know if this is exactly what you’re talking about but it’s for me and not as a look at me. And please excuse my dust and dirt, I do play in the desert, and wasn’t expecting to have to run out and snap pics.
I just really hate black, especially on white, so here’s what I did for me. The shadows kind of throw it off but the colors on the exterior are the same as the interior.

I really like this color combo, and there are days that I wished I bought Sting Gray instead of Billet Silver.... btw, what is your light bar set up? Is it the KC?

I accent mine with dirt. Thankfully Gobi matches most of the Colorado mud, dirt, and dust.
Does this really make it an accent then? Jackson Pollack inspired for sure.

I'm curious as to how long/if others have seen the current "accent color" trend that's going on in the Jeep world. Maybe it's just in my area, maybe not. Turn back the clock 4 years when I bought my JKU, I would occasionally see a Wrangler or two where a distinct decision was made to pick a bright color (what I have heard being called an "accent color") for mild exterior contrast, but in my area now, it's everywhere I look on Wranglers and Gladiators. And I'm not talking about the owners that pick a complimenting wheel color, or something like that; I'm talking about people that paint their radio antennas, window moldings (no kidding, that's the newest I have seen), wiper arms, grills, mirrors, door handles, hitch receiver, etc. a very contrasting color such as hot pink, bright purple, any neon color, etc. It's almost like a local trend where painting random things IS the mod, as opposed to aftermarket mods. Many times, their exterior and suspension is bone stock. As a matter of fact, I spoke with a lady looking to buy a JL who told me, "I already know what my accent color will be" even though she hadn't found one, nor did she know what color she was going to buy. Not bad mouthing or knocking it at all- everyone likes what they like and I am not here to judge, but I'm curious to see if other geographic areas are seeing the same thing. I almost feel like I didn't get a memo that went out..... I've seen it on a few random trucks too, but nowhere near the level of fellow Jeepers. Anyone else seeing the same? I've been involved in the hotrod/custom world for the last 20 years or so, and it hasn't happened there, yet. Just curious.
I don't need any contrasting color other than black. Punk'n orange metallic isn't for everyone, but I love it (don't care for the "Nacho" personal preference/no offense to any nacho owners)!

I accented - painted my front grill with Rubicon red. It was the first mod I had done. I had seen a SEMA build with the same accents & bought this truck so I could do a similar thing. I also have black fuel wheels with red accents. Haven’t seen any others in my area.
