acrylic Window protection.

I found out my Gladiator has a GPW acrylic protector on the windshield. Anyone have experience with this or any cover?

Acrylic is often used in the canvas enclosures of boats. Take a look at those cleaners and polishes.

Did your Gladiator come with it on the windshield ? I wonder if it helps keep bugs off. My Jeep is a bug magnet.

It was on the JT when I bought it. Doesn't keep bugs away, but I've had a few objects (rocks, branches, ect..) hit with no damage.
