Adding 2ea Morimoto 2Banger lights would like to tie them into the LED stock backup lights, will it handle the extra amp draw? Should be total 2 amps additional. Any issue with Can buss with the extra load?

Thanks

Sorry, I don't have the answer to that specific question.
but my solution was to use an inline harness for the 7pin. It's easy add or remove. Also requires no cutting of factory wires. And has no issues with canbus.
I know that modifying/swapping tallights can potentially require programming depending on your setup.
Good luck.

As long as your adding low current LED lights you can tap the hot side of existing back up light without any additional hardware

Is it difficult to remove OEM plug to add this in line? I tried adding one to my RV and couldn't get it separated from rear view bumper.

Mine was very easy. I added it and removed it a few times to test change out different style weatherproof connectors.

I ordered the adapter to hook up the 3rd brake light in my topper. It was a simple unplug, plug in and go. As a fter effect I took it out because it disabled the turn signals on my 2020 Gladiator (hooked to that) different issue than aux backup lights.
