Definitely will be on my radar now!! Dammit! Main reason for the Defender allure is the towing (for me), so we shall see how the Grendadier stacks up…Sharp looking Defender, a buddy has one and does most of the maintenance work himself which hasn't been much. No horror stories, it's incredible to ride in. Despite not having any issues with it he's dead set on moving it for an Ineos Grenadier which should be available later this year. I don't blame him but not because the Defender is bad, the Grenadier is just that incredible. If you're unaware of the Grenadier and haven't inked the Defender, do have a gander. It's pretty much a bullet-proof legacy defender with just enough modern amenities to make it usable as a DD today with a reasonable price-point. That B58 inline 6 turbo in the gas variant is incredible.
