I tried googling and searching here for an answer to no avail. So I swapped my fog lights to LED light bulbs and they are to bright for the fellow drivers coming at me…. I am trying to figure out how to adjust the stock Fog light housing down some. Anyone done this or know how? Looks like there is an adjust screw but when I tried turning both ways didn’t adjust at all.

I can't see any adjustment on my factory LED fog lights - at least using pictures I have of them when I replaced them with Diode Dynamics selective yellow LED fog light assemblies. Maybe if I go unbox them and look I might see something.

Did you put LED bulbs in the standard fog light housings? Bad idea.............

Are you driving in clear weather with fog lights on?

With the new LED light in the stock housing I see the bright wide line it creates but it’s to high with the lift and tires. With Fogs on it had drivers flashing me. I know they are suppose to be lower than headlamps and used for bad weather. These bad boys look like spot lights from a cop car lol.

There isn't an adjustment for the factory LED fog lights. Do you have extra weight in your bed causing the front to lift?

The fogs are hard pointed with 4 screws/nuts. Its a PITA to get to them in the bumper.... Why, because I pulled them to install in my RR bumper.

Did you put in a leveling kit?

Thanks for confirming - I didn't see any in the pictures of my original fog lights but thought I might have been missing something.
I can see a leveling kit would make then shoot out too high.

LED bulbs in a non-LED housing is likely to make things worse, though...........

The above is not correct. I know because I adjusted my factory LED fog lights.

If I were a betting person, I'd bet that the factroy standard non-LED foglights have an adjustment too. I've never come across a non-adjustable forward lighting unit, and I've worked on a bunch of vehicles over the years.

OK, mine was sitting so it wasn't easy to see in the pictures - mine are packed away nicely in a box in a cabinet in a very cold garage so I was going by picture. That makes sense.
It's the part sticking out in the stock LED light sitting on the left...........

Didn't know that, I was going by the screws on the side not being adjustable. Are they adjustable in the same manner as the headlights?

I think the important lesson here is to not make statements of fact if you aren't 100% sure they are factual. Unfortunately, many people believe whatever they read on an internet forum. Sorry if this comes across as being a jerk, but it's a pet peeve of mine.

Is that a Torx or Phillips head?

If I remember correctly, I removed the plastic covers behind the fog lights and used a hex key to adjust them. I think it may also be possible to come up from underneath with a long philips head screwdriver.
Thanks. I put them in this bumper and they are now aimed about 6 feet in front of the jeep.
