I didnt think there was at first. Turns out it will kiss the control arm slightly if you hold the wheel tight against full lock.

Im adding 1” wheel spacers to get the bare minimum i need to clear a drag link flip. If i wasnt doing a DLF, i wouldnt add the spacers. The slightness of the rub and the limited times you experience it is nothing to lose any sleep over.
Did you put in 1 inch wheel spacers?

Not knowing the specifics on your spacer install but with 1 and 11/16 inch wheel lugs you should have a conflict with the lugs sticking out past the spacers. If you are using stock wheels there may be a pocket that will allow use of 1 and 1/4 inch spacers. I saw the 1 inch spacer and thought I would mention something. Don't mean to get in your business.

the spacers alone arent enough. The back of the aev wheels are pocketed to clear the studs for use with spacers. It will be borderline even with that, and i may end up having ti take the dewalt to the studs

anyone get the borah wheels with functional beadlocks? I'm having an issue with gaps using my feeler gauge, despite methodically following the tightening pattern.

The dewalt is one way of handling it. I went through Motorsport Tech Bora. They will make any size spacer you want. I was impressed the personalized service they offer.

I do... But I have not used a feeler guage.. I just torqued to spec & put em on. Had a guy that does a lot of MT balancing do the balancing & havent done anything to them since.

there are larger spacers, but i didnt want any spacers at all. I absolutely hate the look of wheels sticking out past the fender..:i think it looks incredibly stupid. But i have to come out an inch to clear a drag link flip....

What tire pressure are you guys using on the BFG K02 315/70-17 (for a Mojave in this case)?
Any torque settings for the bolts on the rash rings or just tighten? Star pattern?
Balance after install I imagine.

Did my own research. Will go 30 lbs of pressure and torque ring to 20 lb ft with hand tools per aev website.

Similar here. The shock just looked a bit close to the tire. Probably not a problem. I went with the 1.25 and am happy with it.

How did you'll tire shops mount the weights. I dont want something that will get knocked off on the first off-road trip. Or Something that will look like crap. Any suggestions?

Your tire shop should be using weights that have adhesive on the back of them and are mounted on the barrel of the wheel.
