I am currently running 1.5 teraflex front and DayStar 3/4 rear with Fox 2.0 0-1.5 inch shocks. Looking to get rear lifted slightly to increase the rake a bit. Really like the ride and want to preserve it, I think it rides perfect without any bounce whatsoever.

So my options are:

1. Buy a daystar kit and only use rear puck. I don't need shock extensions as I am already running slightly longer Fox 2.0 shocks.
2. Replace with AEV kit. I don't like the fact that it doesn't come with control arms. I can always upgrade down the road with mopar lift front control arms.

What are your thoughts, and experience with either of these kits on a JTR.

Thanks!

I ran the Daystar kit as a temporary fix, have upgraded over time, and am now only left with the rear spacers. I personally don't see the Daystar kit as a permanent solution for most. My front control arm bushings wore quickly, and the sway bar link bushings/sleeves were a problem. The actual spring and shock spacers were great. It's their other components which I found less than acceptable.

Thanks. I am thinking to install rear puck only for now.. I have 1.5 teraflex in the front, and perhaps that's all I would need. Daystar doesn't offer 1.5 inch rear puck as a separate item.

I decided with neither..

In short - Daystar has crappy bushings that fail 6 months down the road. AEV is a great quality lift, however, you need front control arm brackets which puts this setup in the $800 range. And they are spacers after all.

I ordered make my own mopar lift without shocks from BAM wholesale. The total price delivered to my door for everything is $650. I already have fox 2.0 shocks for 1.5 lift so they will work for now, until I decide to go with adjustable Foxes. I don't do hardcore wheeling, so I shouldn't have any issues with .5 inch shorter shock.

Does anyone know the length of Mopar Fox shocks?
