Temps were in the low 80's, but altitude wasn't much in the Appalachains, under 4,000 feet. I do tend to shift manually just to prevent the engine racing. It doesn't seem to hunt, it just doesn't shift early enough for my taste. I don't think it needs to be in the 4500-5000 RPM range to keep power.
That's the problem, lugging. The PentaStar is built to run, it like revs, look at a dyno chart. If you need power (climbing while towing) then you are most efficient at the torque peak which means you need to spin.

A gear lower will increase fuel economy and lower your temps ironically. That there are versions of this engine making substantially more power from the factory emphasizes how under stressed it is. There is no harm whatsoever in running at 4,500 RPM for a considerable amount of time. In fact you'll have cleaner valves, less carbon accumulation in the oil, less crankcase pressure and less strain on your driveline.

If you have the 8.4 head unit, and a model that includes the Off Road Pages, that is the easiest way.

Otherwise, use the arrows on the center display. Down/Up arrow to the tire pressure screen, then Left/Right arrow for the temps.
I found them and I do appreciate the replies.

I have a '22 JT Overland with the tow package. I tow a small TT well within the towing specs (4600 Loaded). The Temps are a bit higher than I would like to see especially the engine oil. On a recnt trip to MI from NC, I saw 260 on the oil in the mountains. Trans was pretty consistent in the 200-206 range with a couple of spikes into the 222 range. I don't believe I have an engine oil cooler. Is there an aftermarket option available if there is not one installed already? I am running Mobil 1 0W-20. Thanks! GH

This is a good point you made. I often wondered how to increase oil cooling on the pentastar.
You might try a bit deeper/larger capacity aluminum finned oil pan. They are made lower oil temperature. I am not sure if it will drop the oil temperature as much as you would like. However, I do think an aluminum oil pan with cooling fins in the air stream certainly would not hurt.😊
