So, I am in a situation where I might be tempted to go with an aftermarket Center Instrument Cluster, rather than a Mopar/Jeep direct replacement. Long Story.

Tell me what brand & model aftermarket Center Instrument Cluster products you've put to use & know without a doubt works well with the rest of the Jeep & with a Tazer Mini.

Note #1: I frequently switch back & forth between my dinky 33" AT tires & my 37" MT tires, depending on what the next few weeks-months activities look like. Thus I need to be able to access my Tazer Mini each time I make that swap, not to mention for other things too, albeit the other reasons won't be nearly as often.

Note #2: I am aprehensive that an aftermarket Center Instrument Cluster will not "play well" with the 8.4" Mopar head unit/radio/info center. So any expirence with that would be nice to hear about too.

Thanks in advance.

Just keep it plugged in.
Um, yah. Duh.

But seriously, what I talking about is if the standard mopar "Audio" screen is not in the aftermarket cluster, how do you change any of the settings on a Tazer?

Gotcha. You are worried about the screen not showing the readout from Tazer.

Interesting situation. I am curious to see what responses you receive. I personally hate the Audio screen / Tazer requirement. It would be amazing if there was a radio screen output. - Following -

Z Automotive responded via email. Here's what it said.

" The Tazer is designed only to work with the OEM cluster. You should assume it will not work on an aftermarket cluster. "

I am good with that. After thinkin about it overnight, I want to stick with an OEM cluster for other reasons too.
