I used some scrap deep uni-strut for my truck, I bought a used softopper and it came with the clamps for the trail rails, I need to eventually take it off and paint them all black…but that will probably never happen.

Any update @Lucky1 ? My bed rack I have (Fishbone cab height) is currently held on (poorly) by some HF C clamps. It's made to attach via the bed rail system, but I don't feel like a need one. Trying to decide if I should buy the cheap Amazon bed rails or just cut off the lip on the bed rack so I can use normal clamps.

My box made it to me in great shape! But sadly at the moment that's all I can tell ya. I am in Florida till Saturday then to PA on Sunday, and then have to go from pitt to Philly. My best guess is I can let you know on Wednesday. Sorry! I would love to know a well! Lol.

I ordered a set of the Teraflex Trail Rails. I'm going to try and get them on this weekend. Hopefully, they will work with the Trail Rail clamps on my RSI Smartcap.

I installed them this afternoon. They went on real easy. I can't tell the difference between the Teraflex and Mopar Rails. I picked up a roll of camper seal foam tape at Lowes, since I'll need it when I put the cap back on. Since I don't have a bed liner, I put a strip down the back of each rail. I pushed the bolts through the holes and the tape held them in place and made the install very easy. I used a micro fiber cloth to remove the dust and pollen before putting them on. They send blue thread locker to use for the end caps on the rails. I didn't put any on the two front caps, since those have to come off to get the clamps in for the RSI Smartcap.

Looks great!

You said you used the foam tape because you don't have a bed liner. Why would that make a difference? Would you not use the foam tape if you had a bed liner?

Let me know how the SmartCap clamps work.

Thanks!

So....I got to open the box! The product looks great. All the pieces are there, finish seems decent, anchors are pretty nice. I was able to get the front rail on without issue. Torqued down and all. Ran a tap through the bed holes just to insure no bedliner in the way. They install a few pieces of foam on top and bottom of the rail centered over the bolt holes.......now, the fun part!

I have a "literider" or access, or agi not sure the name now tonneau cover on the truck. When I got it in '19 I didn't have these so I ordered it without rails kit. I need the proper brackets! Lol. The cover company wants $67 for 6 of those and $16 to ship plus $5 tax. $88 and shipping time then I can finish installing the side rails! Woohoo.

well now! Spoke to a fella that used to sell this brand of covers and he tells me this setup should work fine to hold the bits to the frame and all. So instead of paying the $88 I think I can grab some square nuts and split my clamps and run em that way. Hopefully tonight I will find 6 of those and tomorrow can get em up inside the bed.

I bought this one last year. Bolted right on and is solid.

I think these are sold under a bunch of different random brand names; I ended up with an eBay variant for $115:

The end caps on the side rails were a bit of a tight fit - I've read that the genuine Mopar rails don't include mounting hardware for the back of the side rails, and this is probably why?

Other than the tight fit on the side rails, they seem suspiciously OEM-quality, including the six tie down cleats.

I went with uni strut from Home Depot. I had it power coated. It works great! No issues with hooking anything to it.

Those look good and the price is great. Other than the tight fit, any problems with them? Are the tie down cleats secure or do they have some give to them? It is hard to tell what I'll be hauling any given day and I'm getting tired of southern engineering straps off the corner hooks

I would have to fully recommend them! Mine fit perfectly and weren't tight at all. The tie downs work really well, seem very secure and have no play.
