In my experience, these days it's the opposite. Retired have more money to spend than while working.Fairly obvious that the majority demographic of Gladiator owners would be of the age who can afford (prime earning years) one of, if not the most expensive mid-size truck on the market. Were you expecting something different?
Every single retired person I have talked with - at least of my peers, of my age group, have more disposable income now than when they were 20-40.
I could have NEVER afforded such a truck then - and got by with either used trucks or really pushed my budget hard for a truck I could afford, was totally practical, etc.
Those working should be saving - even my son will often say that people he knows are saving zip, spending it all now on whims and wanting it all, wanting it now, and he's concerned they will never be able to retire.
He's planning on retiring before he's 50.
