I get better life from simple vent clips or a small essential‑oil diffuser on low. A tiny charcoal bag under the seat also works great and lasts way longer than the tree stuff.
The best I’ve had is hands-down McGuire‘s air refresher. But a close second would be the chemical guys sprays that actually smell good and not just loud.

One of my personal favorites is a sprig of creosote when I go out to the desert. It’s lasts for a while and smells wonderful.

I’ve started preferring lighter air fresheners lately because some of the super strong ones end up smelling more chemical than fresh after a while. Citrus, linen, soft coffee, or clean vanilla blends usually feel much more comfortable indoors.
That’s honestly why I also lean toward softer fragrances instead of overly sharp perfumes. Sweet Coffee Inspired by Good Girl gives that cozy warm scent in the air without feeling too aggressive if used lightly.
I think the best air fresheners are the ones you notice gently in the background instead of instantly overpowering the whole room.
Is this a sales pitch? What about opening the windows?

I recently discovered the Drift brand. Wooden pucks. They smell pretty good and aren't overwhelming at first opening. They last a while and can be refreshed.

Hmmmm those use candle scent oils. I have a bunch of that in canisters. Maybe I should look into those. Thanks!! 😊

I bought the Chemical Guys stuff after I read that some used dealerships spray it on a rag and put in under the seat. I just wanted to try it. I don't understand the need for a rag. I just spray it on the carpet and it's fine.
