I agree all that cutthroat happens at top trim. But it stops up there. Those guys don't look at base models.

Pricing a pickup above the trail hawk will never happen. That would be jeep entering the pickup world with a gimick. Won't happen. Jeep will stay in it's own lane.

Down in my base bone stock world, theJT will not be priced higher than Grand Cherokee Laredo base model, which is tops in Jeep.

I'll get sport max tow and some options under 40K OTD, maybe with under invoice pricing.

Based on MSRP $32,770 JT Sport no options.

I said this before, the JT is a new Vehicle and I could see it priced higher than the Laredo, the reason being is next year Jeep will have a new Grand Cherokee and you can bet the price is going up. So I think it will be priced higher than the current Laredo but lower than the new Laredo next year, this still allows the GC to be top dog until the Grand Wagoneer comes out and allows Jeep to increase price across the fleet when they release/ update models.

But again, this is all wishful thinking and conjecture until FCA finally put out pricing. I've just been shopping for a vehicle most of my deployment, so I have way too much time on my hands to think about all this!
Thank you for your work. Yeah, this is a group of individuals with one common desire, that being a JT in their possession, for a million different reasons, so you are not alone. Plus this wait is a cluster. Somebody actually thinks it's a good idea to put more stress on Americans right now. Lol. We tend to not like that. Real cute marketing, next time I'm against bailing them out. This kind of approach we get? We should have let the whole industry collapse and then rebuild with a customer first mindset. Instead we have spoiled kids running the auto world like they know something. Nevermind. Anyway, it's good you have the flexibility to get around 50K. Should be plenty options for your JT there. On here there are some what's your color threads, etc, so that thing will be pretty damn well built by the time you step into it.

Jeepheads,

(this is posted also on another thread, just putting it here as OP to keep track)

Price Range may be leaking like an old Willy’s, and if it fits (sort of), it fits:

Consumer Reports (Low End) 30K

JLU Sport (No Options) MSRP: $31,545

JLU Sport (No Options) Build Tool: $33,040

JLU Sahara (No Options) MSRP: $38,395

JLU Sahara (No Options) Build Tool: $39,890

JLU Rubi (No Options) MSRP: $41,545

JLU Rubi (No Options) Build Tool: $43,040

Consumer Reports (High End): 45K

[email protected] (Low End): 45K and (High End): 60K

JLU Rubi (Fully Optioned) MSRP: $41,545+$18,565= $61,605

Um...these are all 4 door Wrangler (JL) prices. Not really a leak.

Maybe planted story tells it better. My point is consumer reports set the range close to JLU prices, not way higher. Do you and everyone believe consumer reports is the question...

Welcome to the forum! We need more optimists here...I very well expect a loaded JT Rubi to retail for more than $65k.
You could be correct. Loaded wrangler is near 59k and the gladiator will possibly be 5kish more.
