I’m trying to find somewhere local to order/install an Alu-Cab canopy. I’m in Monterey CA. Alu Cab website shows 2 places in SF area but they’re just places to rent stuff. Rather drive a little bit then pay shipping on those beasts.

Have you called them? They may be a dealer for them as well as a rental place.

Tiny Rig Co in LA is the main US distributor on the west coast. They also do installs and other stuff.

I'm in the bay area too. I went to Portland OR (DasMule) for my ACCC purchase and install. It just so happens that Oregon does not charge sales tax at point of sale. I had family to stay with while I was there (~4 day install). Oregon labor rates are also a bit lower than LA or SF. Something to think about.
