Any idea if this works with the 5" display? I found out too late that android auto doesnt work with the 5" so I have been looking for a solution. At the moment I have a separate gps mounted.

This does not add CarPlay/Android Auto to your unit. I just makes the CarPlay/Android Auto connection wireless.

It'd be cheaper just to hang a flank steak off the back bumper, and you wouldn't need binoculars. Just avoid the rangers.



If you haven't been - or others who haven't - tour the park(s) at dusk. That's when you'll have the best chance at bears and wolves. Many Glacier area in GNP is the best spot for bear spotting, as is the Going To the Sun Road. Yellowstone's Lamar Valley usually has bison and bear.

I had that version of the wireless carplay adapter and it worked but not well. On my ride into work this morning, 30 minutes, it disconnected 6 times. I would not recommend it.

I bought this adapter, when it worked it worked well. It frequently disconnected and sometimes would not connect until I unplugged it and plugged it back in. This morning on my 30 minute drive into work it disconnected itself 6 times. I would not recommend it.

Ok, ok, you guys ended up making me buy this at the last minute Prime Day-wise!
I pressed the button after 10:30pm out here. I did it because I got THIS phone mount as a gift for Father's Day and since the phone will be to my left I won't want a cable running across the instrument cluster to the USB port.
