I installed my Dee Zee a-pillar bracket - nice bracket that allows me to position lights anywhere along the bracket. I have a pair of floods and a pair of ambers - Rigid Ind squares - trying to decide which one to put on the a-pillar and which to put on the cowl bracket. Wondering which people have found works better. Here's what it looks like. I will probably mount one of them straight to the cowl bracket without the attachment seen here.

I have amber SAE on my cowl. I had driving beams there. They(drivening pattern ) are rad but aren’t street legal. And there is a lot of light spill on the hood. The SAE Ambers Put a nice glow on the hood.

In regards to spill on the hood messing with night vision. I think floods would be best on the bumper with spots On the cowl.
