If you're going to be installing and removing the Sunrider yourself, about the only thing you need to watch is the wind.
You'll be trying to control a huge sail or kite if it's windy.
If you do it in the garage with overhead closed, then it won't be an issue.
Yeah, it will be done in garage.

I recall putting the panels back in years ago as the big derecho was heading our way - even those about took me into the next county. I had to really hang on tight.

It will likely always be done in the garage - rather than outside then carrying it into the garage for storage. I have to find a place to store that big beast once it gets here.

That is a nice looking Gladiator! Something you’d see on the showroom floor or in an ad.

Never saw a need to remove the Sunrider in the colder weather - so nice to pop the top back on those rare winter days when the sun is bright and the temperature is up.
if chill and noise is the issue, and if you have seen how simple the Sunrider headliner looks, you could probably find a talented quilter in your neighborhood to whip you up one in short order.

After staying up until midnight Friday night, then driving to the airport to get my wife and her friend - dropping her friend off and getting us back home it was 2:30. Slept a short time, then across the county to leave my 2022 Hydro blue Overland and pick up the new 2025 Mojave X Mojito - I'm EXHAUSTED!

So these are as good as it gets for a while as far as pictures.
The mud flaps/splash guards won't be put on until after ceramic detailing.
RSE power steps have not arrived yet - the Jeep came far faster than expected. I told Scott, my sales guy "yes" on March 12, Jeep said "got the order" March 13, and I took ownership on April 12 - it's been at the dealership since Tuesday. Well under a month start to finish.
So some stuff isn't here, other stuff is waiting until other things are done.

It's a heavier truck for sure - you can feel its weight as you drive it. And although it was VERY windy today, again, as usual, it's Iowa, it still seemed quieter than my 22 was. A calm day will tell for sure, but it did feel quieter, less road noise and a bit less wind noise

As far as the steering wheel (OH, please - they are telling me, DO NOT GO THERE!) all I see different is the stitching isn't orange, and, the leather isn't perforated. Otherwise, it's different than my Overland was or our Rubicon is.

Where you sit is orange stitching, the rest is not. Fine with me. Love it.

The dash is SOOO changed, the big start button is deeply recessed and if you pulled out the center button panel with the AC controls and so on - the ignition button is not part of that. It takes getting used to as there's a ledge you have to get past to press the button to start it. Annoying, but it is what it is. Muscle memory will adapt. I struggled a couple of seconds to get to the button to start it - I had to look - where did they put the start button! And my dash handle tray that goes above the glove box - won't fit 24-25 so I have an extra if someone wants one.

Love the pictures. That’s a lotta color in that garage! Huh, looks like orange trim is a thing of the past now. 4 weeks till delivery is nuts. I think mine took 6 and I thought THAT was fast!

Your seat looks larger/wider than mine but flatter. I think mine has bolsters on the lower section that rise up. Huh

Brother, you are as indecisive as I am on the colors. Love the Reign! I wanted one, but the color only appeared here for like two weeks. Have a mojito Mojave X on order now. Waiting on the schedule date to appear. Cheers

Wish I could have one of each color in hydro blue, snazzberry, mojito - but reign is out of the question as that must remain my wife's color of choice. I don't dare try to match that one with a Gladiator even if they ever offered it.
I'll miss the blue for sure, and missed getting snazzberry by 1 day back in 2022.

Seats will take some getting used to. Seems like I sit lower in this one even with the seat raised up. The seat backs feel about the same, the bottoms do feel different - and lower but I do like the ability to tweak the angles and more with the power seats.

My wife had a habit of putting her hand of her shorter right arm (with no elbow) into the seat back adjusting strap on the others and said she missed that strap being there as it was just a habit - something was missing on this one. I told her I could have a nice leather strap made and attached to the seat if it really bothered her......... but she really does like the ability she now has to adjust the seats without struggle. She really likes the power seat bit.
She never really even noticed the stitching or yucky "green" dash and door panel colors until I pointed them out. I should have kept my mouth shut!

That’s good to hear. I just spent $4k+ on bumpers, a winch, lights, and a new tonneau cover, but next on my list is a Sunrider with headliner and hard top insulation. I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine in GA and I’ll use it a lot more than removing my panels. I’ve been wanting a Sunrider for 5 yrs now so it’s about time. lol.

The non power seat’s bottom angle sucked. I finally fixed that on mine with some seat jackers. Long overdue.

Yeah, butt, does your 2025 have memory seats? Joking. That is one beautiful Gladiator.

No, too bad it doesn't. They have user preferences stored in the radio so when you get in with your key fob vs. hers, it puts radio and other choices back but those darned Jeep engineers............ LOL.

Thanks - it's going to take some time to get used to the differences, and get some things put back from the other (the cubbies, and junk I had stashed) but it's a nice one so far.

People in church knows that Barbara has the purple (reign) Wrangler and I had the blue Gladiator so last night we heard "someone got a new Jeep" as people walked in past us.

Thanks.
It's probably over-kill in a lot of ways, but I wanted something to at least match the comfort of the Overland, but have the underside to handle the abuse of a snow plow, towing and so on.

HUGE DROP in mpg - but it seems quite gutsy when needing to get into traffic.
Nice ride, comfortable seats, LOVE the power seat aspect.
Already thankful I put the Redline Tuning hood struts on it - they were handy on the Overland but are a must on the Mojave. Damn, that hood is heavy LOL

What I am not looking forward to is all of the stuff I have to put back onto this one from my 2022! Yikes!

If this one is as reliable as my last two were - it's going to be fine.

Tomorrow, I take it to a shop to have professional ceramic done. They say "4 days" so I'll be without it for this coming week.
