Beautiful truck, what was the damage out the door before your trade in?

I sold the JT to another dealership and put the money in the bank. 0 down on the Ram Rebel put me at $70,000 out the door with the extended warranty, Gap, and paint and dent protection. Truck was originally $78,000 and marked down to $63,000.

Not forever but for now. I love my jeep but realistically towing with it is fine but we need more room on the inside for everyone to ride comfortably, pets and people for when we pull the camper. I really just like to say I'm gonna miss the forum in general and I've made some friends local and on here, some that I've spoke to by private messages and phone that I'll cherish the bond forever. I'll be in either a JT or Wrangler again soon but for now I found a 2019 Ram Rebel that's just to good to pass up.

I got a knot in my gut just now and it really want set in until I ride by the dealership and see it sitting out on their lot but I got 92,500 miles on mine and if I don't do something now then I'll get even less when it hits 100,000 miles.

I know you guys hate these post but I feel like I don't want to just stop being on here. I appreciate all the advice I've gotten on here and hopefully I have been able to offer some advice and been a positive contributor on here as well. Thanks again guys!

I hear ya, hard to be mean to a 3 and 10 year old, plus I gotta live with the wife. I hate I had to do it but I've been selfish with how I buy vehicles pretty much for the whole 28 years me and my wife have been married. It's time to do something that will benefit all and it's really not much of hit. I'm still smiling pretty good with a 5.7 Hemi under the hood and so much room on the inside. I still miss my Gladiator but I also still miss my wrangler and Mustang.

The backseat comfort is kinda like if you come over and ask my I let my dogs on the couch? I let you on the couch, they live here. Don't like it see your way out.

More room on the inside because the ram is massive on the outside by comparison. Just wait until you try to take it down some forest roads that weren't even remotely challenging in the JT. We wheel tough trails in both Jeeps so it's not even a comparison and the ram isn't an option, but remembering trying to maneuver the rebel through some spots that you don't even show down in the Jeeps reminds me just how big a difference there is even on mild trails.

I don't do nothing technically challenging anymore. I'll have another jeep for that again but for now I'm gonna enjoy towing in comfort and riding in comfort. I never bought the Gladiator for comfort and really didn't think it was an uncomfortable ride but try telling that to the wife and grandkids with 4 dogs inside as well. The dogs can sleep in the rear floor of the Ram.

Many of the Over Lander people are going to full size trucks. They will do some off road for sure. The outside edge of the tires on my JT is wider than the same measurement on my Ram 2500. A 1500 with a small lift and some 35s , a rear locker and rocker skids will get you well into the back country. Probably get the same or better MPG and a quiet ride. Think of what you can do, not can't.

Well, I been married for 27.5yrs. And nothing bothers me anymore. Tears, whining etc...

I'm at 28 yrs last month myself, we know our boundaries plus in her defense she has sacrificed a lot more than I have in those 28 yrs and been a lot less selfish with letting me get my way. Eventually I'll have another Jeep in the driveway.

I'll still be around lurking. I'm a jeep guy at heart, been driving them since High School. Plus I'm a fan of the community and have made some good friends over the years. I might not be able to take the ram rock crawling but I can still get it down some trails I know off, just don't let the wife know
