Another Winch Thread... Warn on after market bumper

Long story short I settled on getting a warn... I think unless I get really good deal on a superwinch... but I got an unexpected bonus at work. So started looking at the deals for the zeons since the zeon XD came out.

Anyone put a zeon on one of the rugged ridge spartan bumper on a gladiator. Seems like if it will fit it will be tight, from what I can tell for the EVO it will fit fine since the depth is just a bit narrower.

Any one have any insights with that setup on a rugged ridge bumper?

I run a Smittybilt 12k on a Quadratec bumper. It was a tight fit next to the grill. I found a site member that makes different thickness spacers, so I ordered the .25” which made the needed difference. The bumper has the winch plate attached, and it is strong. Several times while using it, the front tires lifted off the ground.

I think the smittybilt are a couple inches less in depth then some I looked at. At least I think the one I had considered anyways.

Spacers might be the key for making it fit if it doesn't though. I'll have to do some more measurements if that would work.

Its very common that spacers are needed when installing a winch bumper.
My Rock hard aluminum bumper came with spacers put I made my own out of 1.1/8 solid aluminum.
