I try to be symmetrical where practical, but that's just me. But mine isn't perfectly symmetrical either. One side is cut out further than the other to allow for the backup cable to plug into the solenoid box.I have a question on the aesthetics of doing this mod. I originally just cut away enough of the top portion of the outer plastic to expose the control box and the clutch lever. I now think that I may 'even up' that cutout toward the passenger side to make it more symmetrical. What do you guys think? Just looking for opinions. Thanks.

No spacers necessary in my install, though you can hardly slide a sheet of paper behind my X20 and the grille. It's a snug fit.I’m doing this very soon as my LOD mount arrived today. I’ll be putting in a smittybilt x20 that I’ve had for a few years.
I have a question: did anyone need to use spacers for the bumper?
