I've got a '20 Kawasaki H2 SXSE+. Love the bike. Thing is a beast.

Lately I've considered selling it and buying a full on H2 (non SXSE).

I never ride two-up. I will never go x-c and need the bags. H2 has more power potential. H2 looks a bit meaner.

Thoughts?

I ride a ā€˜18 Yamaha MT09. I’m a firm believer in buying what makes you happy. If you can reasonably afford it and don’t need the touring bags and have no plans to go cross country then why not get the bike you really want and matches your riding style. Do you plan on track days with the H2? Have you considered other bikes or is it H2 or nothing?

My track days are long behind me, so something like a ZX-10RR or R1, or lighter 600's, is really not needed. Mission today is back country riding with my buddies going to get lunch with some very spirited fun thrown in. What does it for me with the entire H2 series bikes is the supercharger. Just screams HELL YEA. I'm very happy with the SXSE, but the one-up has been calling me lately.

You heard of any particular year models to steer towards or away from with the H2?

if you haven't had a big twin sport bike, just keep them in the back of your mind, the torque is just plain fun all the way to 10k.

I also like the power band hit of the 4 at the top of the rpm range, so many options so little money.

I’ve had a GSXR750, R1, fz-06, Harley sportster 1200, FJ-09, and just got rid of my MT09.

i LOVE crotch rockets. The Harley was a huge mistake. Should’ve never got rid of that R1.

i rented a buel once loved the chassis hated the motor (1200cc push rod), it would fall on it's face when any other bike would start getting fun in the revs.

I’ve had quite a few over the years. My fave was my ZX-14R SE. Gave it up when the Mrs went AWOL and waiting to raise my kids until they’re old enough and self supporting. Will probably look at a BMW or a Concourse

I have had over 40 various sportbikes…. As i got older mid 40’s, I found that I love my BMW K1200S. All the speed of new sportbikes but all the comfort they will never have. Buy what you like. You only live once.

Yes, I have an R6, been riding for about 17 years now, and have loved every minute of it. Bunch of my friends have liter bikes but I refuse to give up my R6. Riding a supersport is like operating with a scalpel. That's me though, everyone has different comfort requirements.

Had a 1988 Kawasaki ZX-10 back in the early 1990's for a few years until I had to sell it due to a divorce.

I loved that bike. The 600's and 750's could take me in the curves all day but in the straights it was the boss. Would eventually get back into a GSX-R750 a few years later but eventually gave it up. Getting old, fat and realizing ones mortality did me in.

Stolen Pic for reference

Yup, I’m starting to believe my crotch rocket days are gone but just can’t sell my RC8r.

Been riding since I was 7 yrs old. Now 67. Still riding. Track days with a bike are behind me. Do track days with a car now. The bike i have now is a Honda VFR Red White and Blue 25th Anniversary Edition. Have full Ohlins forks and shock. Full floating Brembo front rotors, Mono block Brembo front calipers. Brembo front brake and clutch master cylinders. Had an A&A Performance supercharger on it for a while. Sold it for the twice the money I paid for it. Wish I would have kept it.
