That's just great. I paid about $67K OTD for my '22 JTR new. I have really taken a bath on it if I ever sell it.

I got an $11K discount on my 21 JTRD when I ordered it. Brought the cost down to $52K. According to KBB its now worth about half what I paid for it. That sucks because my 2017 JKUR is 4 years older and worth just over half what the original cost was. Now I know you don't buy cars as an investment but the Gladiator is the highest dollar loss in 3 years than any other vehicle I've ever owned. Selling after 1st of year and going back to a JLUR which holds value better than JT.

I just purchased a 2024 today. I picked up a Rubicon in Tucson for $46,000. It came to about $53,000 with the taxes, licensing and fees. That was the best price u could find within 500 miles of Yuma.
Hard to tell if you got a good deal or not. Out the door means nothing. The actual price drop from sticker does. Looks like you paid $7000 in tax, tags and fees. That sounds high. 9.8% sales tax, $800 reg, $400 doc fee what was all the rest of theb$7k for? What was the sticker price? Dealers in Phoenix advertising 20% off MSRP on 24 JTs, after 1st of year when they start panicking due to inventory it will probably go to 25% like the 23s did. Plenty of unsold 24s out there.

Agree regarding drop from sticker is what matters, unfortunately too many dealers play with that $$ drop and then add back Protection and even Freight.

Not sure how good a deal is these days, but Costco has a purchase program. You should get 5% off MSRP plus all rebates. I think I'll use that so that this round. Seems like a hassle free way to buy.

There is definitely something to be said for "hassle free" and everyone needs to decide how much that is worth to them. Based on quotes I was receiving, just by asking for OTD quotes without pushing much, they were discounting by around 9% of MSRP. So that is around $2,500 less than the 5% if you are looking at the most expensive trim levels.

That said, those quotes were on 2024 Gladiators, and if Costco is truly 5% under MSRP (I am a little skeptical) on the 2025's, that could be a good deal compared to the 2024 as with auto transmission standard the MSRP's for 2025's are about 6% less than the comparable 2024 models on the Mojave trims.

If you aren't buying today, it will be interesting to see what the next cycle of promotions look like. Rumors are that they might cut MSRP's on Jeep products. They could also do this by introducing aggressive incentives on the 2025 models.

5% is nothing. Some dealers now advertising 20% off plus rebates. Go Costco and get hosed

Anyone truly advertising 20% plus rebates, haven't seen that, is likely to have 7% in dealer add ons or is advertising using incentives that no one would qualify for all of them. I agree Costco is probably not the way right now, but please share 20% pre-rebates and I will e-mail them right now for an OTD quote.

An educated consumer is a dealers worst nightmare. I've walked out of a dealership more than once in my life. Too many people are what dealers call "lay downs". Everyone else gets the best deal.

When I bought there were no deals here. I even asked a fleet friend and he said that anything below asking was a deal. So,,, the money I paid is gone and no going back. Like buying high in the stock market. I won't loose any money till I sell and by then I will have n memory of how much I paid. I am really done with the mods, all paid for. Now I just drive and enjoy it.
BTW, I would have got the diesel but there was lot of bad things about it. Smog devices failing, expensive oil and filters.

I work with a guy who had the same jeep for 36yrs. 2 body replacements ,3 frames, 2 engines, original transmission. Was a 80 model CJ if I recall. .. Thats pretty much where I am headed. The 21' is my last one. From here on out it's rebuild and repair.

Stan. I thought my '20 JT sport was my last. This '24 Mojave might really be. I can't think of anything missing now.

There were no 2024 diesels. Jeep discontinued in 2023 due to high instance of warranty costs. Be glad there wasn't one to buy. Mine has had 15 major breakdowns, 200+ days in shop and all but one engine related. Currenry at dealer since Sept 17, replqced.all injectors but still didn't run right. Chased down several more issues now waiting on back ordered parts that come from Italy. ETA for fixed and back to me sometime in Feb. Oh dealer told me over 150 diesels are at dealers waiting on the same parts.

As fir no deals except full price that is total BS. You should have found another dealer. I ordered mine and got $11,000 off including a 1K rebate.
