I got a more detailed message stating there were server issues (host server)
Cloudflare is one of those DDoS prevention services, BOT blocking and more- they also are a content delivery aid - I would guess similar to Akamai. So a host can appear to be anywhere.
(Denial of Service attacks target specific servers and IP addresses or ranges. Cloudflare helps prevent that by filtering out such attacks and shielding the server)
In this case, Cloudflare suggested it was actually a problem with the host server.

I started seeing it late this afternoon/early evening.

I got a couple of messages yesterday evening. For about 15 minutes nothing worked the site just stalled till it timed out. I'm thinking they had a server problem going on.

Fantastic quote in a tech meeting with a customer yesterday (I work in networking tech):

"One man's Security is another man's Denial of Service"

:) And yes that screen was reaching the point of a DoS attack last night.

So can we as users be affected?
