I really liked this cover except for the fact that my local 4x4 shop installed it wrong and it got water in the cab. But I reinstalled it myself and fixed the issue but now it looks to be wearing out completely.

Is this something I should contact them about? Presumably it would be under warranty, and it's just a little over a year old. But if the lifespan of these is typically pretty short, I need to look into another brand to replace it with. Any thoughts appreciated.

Mine is doing great so far going on 5 months looks new. Once a month put on the 303 Aerospace Protectant, which is essential to keep it from pulling away from the edges. And of course never ever use armor all or anything like that.

In looking at your I am a little concerned it has not been been getting additional protection. Have you been putting any protectant on it??? That is the secret to keeping them in great shape. These types of covers are not a set it and forget it thing.

I've had mine since Christmas, it shows no wear aside from the rubber edging curling up a hair at the tailgate end. No special treatment like applying 303 or anything, It's been washed a couple times, but that's it.

I'd definitely be making a warranty claim

I have had the BAK Revolver just over a year and have applied 303 protectant once. The cover looks great. However, my cover has had a very easy life being in the garage most of the time. I did have a concern with the rear corner caps. I contacted BAK and the were very responsive.

Funny you'd mention that, one of my rear corner caps came in busted when I bought it. They were quick to ship a new one. I hadn't heard that I needed to treat it monthly. Might be too far along now.

Opened mine up to find the glue for the felt "silencer" under one corner gave up in the heat. Stuck it back on and we'll see :D Funny it's been much hotter, but it didn't wilt until yesterday.
