Like the post states
If they've already offered the buyback, getting a lawyer now is not really going to help any. It can be a long, slow process.

Getting a lawyer is usually done to push them into offering a buyback.

Lemon Law comes in if they can't fix the problem and don't offer a refund or replacement.

The link @Artsifrtsi posted succinctly describes this process:
If the manufacturer has failed to correct one or more nonconformities within a reasonable number of attempts but does not provide a refund or a replacement vehicle, consumers may invoke their rights through arbitration.
Since they're offering a replacement, getting a lemon law lawyer isn't going to do anything, as Jeep is holding up their end of the requirements. If they weren't offering a buyback, that's when you go that route.

You should have included that in the first post. If you have a problem they are unable to repair, and they have not offered a solution, then you need to find a lawyer who has experience with Lemon Law cases.

If they are trying to fix it, you will have to suffer through the process, unless you believe they will be unable to resolve the issues. If they are not already involved, you should contact @JeepCares and see if they can help.

Yeah, sorry about that. "Going through the buyback program" definitely implied that they've offered to start that process. If they haven't, then you still need to give them time and opportunity to correct the issue before you can begin any other kind of process.

It sucks, yes, but they need to be given the chance to make it right first.

I have another thread on here that details more what has been done… was just wondering about the buy back prices or just hire an attorney and let them handle it..

I myself would hate to go thru the buy back process, just a long time in the process to get results and sometimes they don't really favor the owner. With Gladiator discounts down at dealerships and incentives up I see around $3500 here in Texas it's just going to lower your settlement with Jeep. Don't know what your reason for going through the process, but you may not even be offered enough to payoff your loan off if one is in place. Working for one of the big three for over 35 years i've seen many go through this process and in the end they pretty much loose all there value that they may have in the vehicle and don't walk away with anything, just a lot of bad memories and time wasted in the process. But like I said, since we do not know the story it's hard to form a decision on what is going on.

At least they are trying to make this right for you. Maybe talk to the service manager about your concern?
Did you read the other threads?

Yeah, you are stuck in a bind with your truck being out of state to your residence and trying to get it resolved. You have to careful bringing up lawyers until you are ready to deploy that nuclear option. The nano second that servicing dealer hears lawyers are involved, they are going to stop in their tracks and push your truck outside. So any momentum if any trying to resolve your issue is going to stop.

I cannot complain about the way I’ve been treated.. but I just want this over with… yes the service manager has been very helpful but says his hands are tied…. Sent me internal documents that he had shared with Jeep care…
