Kinda why I was askingIf they've already offered the buyback, getting a lawyer now is not really going to help any. It can be a long, slow process.
Getting a lawyer is usually done to push them into offering a buyback.
Since they're offering a replacement, getting a lemon law lawyer isn't going to do anything, as Jeep is holding up their end of the requirements. If they weren't offering a buyback, that's when you go that route. If the manufacturer has failed to correct one or more nonconformities within a reasonable number of attempts but does not provide a refund or a replacement vehicle, consumers may invoke their rights through arbitration.
You should have included that in the first post. If you have a problem they are unable to repair, and they have not offered a solution, then you need to find a lawyer who has experience with Lemon Law cases. They have not offered me a replacement….
Sorry about that.. all new to me.. I have an open stars case and Jeep wave is involved but the service department is still working on it…. Keeps ordering new modules…. Went in for repair January 2 while I was in Ky… I live in fl… they have tried 5 different items so far to no avail… I need my truck…You should have included that in the first post. If they are trying to fix it, you will have to suffer through the process, unless you believe they will be unable to resolve the issues. If they are not already involved, you should contact @JeepCares and see if they can help.
At least they are trying to make this right for you. Maybe talk to the service manager about your concern?Sorry about that.. all new to me.. Yeah, you are stuck in a bind with your truck being out of state to your residence and trying to get it resolved. You have to careful bringing up lawyers until you are ready to deploy that nuclear option. The nano second that servicing dealer hears lawyers are involved, they are going to stop in their tracks and push your truck outside. So any momentum if any trying to resolve your issue is going to stop.I have another thread on here that details more what has been done… was just wondering about the buy back prices or just hire an attorney and let them handle it..
