San Diego is Mojave central. Makes sense given all the dunebros here. Not to mention so many awesome places just 50 miles away for desert fun.

Do they have any up there, last time I was there about 4 weeks ago they only had used ones on the lot.So I was getting the JT serviced and walked the lot at Hendricks in Concord NC and noticed there are zero max tow JTs on the lot! Anyone else notice and wonder why??
This has been my experience in New England. Mostly non-max tow Sport-S and Rubicon. It's been that way since 2019 when I was first looking around, big lots, small lots, all the same. This ain't anything new or anything to do with economy, Covid or shortages. It was the way it was years ago.
Most of what I saw back then was Sport (not max tow) and Rubicon. Seems nothing has changed in almost 3 years.
That is how it is around here also. Usually when something hits the lots its a Rubi/Mojave or Willy's. You would think you might see more of the Texas Edition hitting the lots hear as its a nice truck but I haven't seen many of them on the lots. My truck is in the shop currently due to the battery issue and every time I go in for oil change I get request if I am interested in trading it in or selling it back to them. Wonder if they will come at me this time as wellIn 2019, and early 2020, all I saw were rubis and max tows. After talking to the dealer and asking why that was i was informed that FCA/Stealantis/who ever is current owner had a ton of them made ahead of release and only made a couple of “quick order” packages so customers could get their “order” faster. Once the initial rush died down and people began to see what options it had and what they actually were the overland and rubi became popular.
now, her in DE, its basically all rubi/mojave/willys.
Yeah, I ran into that a lot. Especially the dealers on Long Island. Such a bummer when you think you found one and they reply with a quote like this:When I started looking last November. All the Max Tow I could find on dealer lots locally (Queens NY but I searched 75 miles) had been dealer modified (lifted, 37's, big bumpers with winches)and in the 70 grand area, not what I was looking for. I ended up finding one in PA (about 100 miles away) that was in transit and put a deposit on it. Glad I did, I got everything I wanted.
I wouldn't dare say I'm deserving, but the stars aligned and I found a Max Tow in the Dallas area. Otherwise its all Rubis and WIllys down here. All have the Tow package, but not Max Tow.I think everyone is overlooking the real reason. Only the smartest, manliest, and thriftiest individuals can possibly handle the responsibility and privilege of driving a max tow JT. Jeep knows that there are so many worthy drivers out there, so they keep the stock low and hide them away from the undeserving.
There were none anywhere that my dealer could get, back when I ordered in January. Everyone I know of who has one special ordered it. They must not be popular enough, or have a high enough profit margin. So I was getting the JT serviced and walked the lot at Hendricks in Concord NC and noticed there are zero max tow JTs on the lot! Anyone else notice and wonder why??
