Anyone with the Base Sport?

Most interesting to read. When did you order and what’s your current build status? Oh and love the color.

Ordered 8/12. Only upgrades are the automatic transmission, bed liner and tonneau cover. Only in D status right now. I've definitely got a little anxiety about having no power locks, even on the tailgate. But couldn't justify the added cost. I work in a secure facility where the guards at the gate randomly ask you to pop the trunk.

Yes, a Sport S will have a "Sport" badge on the tailgate and the window sticker will say it's the Sport model with 24S option package. If it has manual windows and locks its a base Sport. Otherwise not.

sport vs sport s has been super confusing to me too. When you look at the spec sheet there is only one sport, but when you look at the order sheets there are
23B (base manual)
24B (base auto)
23S (option package sport manual)
24S (option package sport Auto)


and then there is the gladiator brochure... look at the top row of this chat and tell me if it makes any sense to you

looking over the spec sheet I don't see any reason the base sport would get less payload than the sport s

Give it a day or two and I should have my base Sport model. Arrived at the rail ramp this past Friday, just a 2 hour drive to my dealership.

So, your's will have manual, crank windows? You may be first actual Sport I've seen on here.

Yes you are right. I think I will be the first person in this forum to get a base Sport model truck with manual windows, mirrors and locks and yes mine will have a stick shift transmission. Will not have the tiny little stereo system in it for very long. Plan to quickly put in an aftermarket stereo system that will also have a decent navigation system built in along with a much larger screen. Will post pictures once I get it, hopefully early this week.

I have a 2015 JKU Sahara in Tank Green, Ive been debating trading it in for a Gladiator. I like the base Sport (roll up windows), It seems like everyone on only has the Sport S. Any pics of the Base model Gladiator?

This is the base sport with Rubicon take off wheels/tires and a temp side steps from a JL. It since has some NFab Nerf bars, a EAG bumper, a winch and several stickers to dress it up a bit.
