Does AOAA have any silly requirements for safety flags or anything like that? I read what I could find on the website, but I'd rather be prepared than surprised.
Last time I was there, no. That was 2 years ago.

@toddarama Bring a life preserver or kayak if you are planning on going through the puddle

Also, get your waivers done ahead of time-

No alcohol allowed on premises. Bring a good attitude and thick skin.

I have two VHF radios that I am bringing. I have never used them but Elff programmed them for me.
I typically bring up the rear, so I will lend the second one to the leader.

I downloaded the 'onX Offroad' App. it seems good for AOAA. Like $28.

My plan is to have a batch of chili to share.

OK. Now this is getting serious!

I'm stripped down and ready to rumble. Replacing the winch solenoid this weekend, so I'm ready to run some cable. Looking foward to driving, spotting and eating some chili.

Still waiting to see if there is going to be enough players for a 11 v 11 tournament.

What is the timeline for the 11th?

Drive time is approx. 3 hours each direction for me.......I'm sure like most of you.

Ready to wheel and get dirty again

@Minty JL I would assume that we are meeting for 9AM when they open. That way we get maximum trail time. You might want to remove the rack, Trees can be pretty tight up there. I normally take mine off.

Ok, sounds good!

Yeah Elsa is 5 now.

I think I will have to roll the dice on the rack with all of the stuff I have on it and wired......tho I made everything quick disconnect. Its pretty beefy

I have no where to put my rack if I take it off ... I am sure not trying to haul it up my apartment building stairwell in one piece. I guess I could take it apart if it's really an issue .... I think I'm just going to plan on following Minty JL who can clear the trees out of the way for me? :)

Okay, just be careful and remember it is there. I have done trails with my RTT, which is on a full height rack. Sometimes it makes things challenging.
It does suck to just throw traction boards and equipment in the bed when that IS what the rack is for.

I put my ARE camper shell back on for this trip I'm on right now. Just how tight does it get?

As tight as you let it. Last time I was up, there were some pretty tight maneuvers with leaning trees. Since there will be racks and caps out there, let's just make sure to spot for each other. We think about tire placement but forget about roofline clearances.
