AOAA is fun and will not disappoint! You can contact the staff out there ahead of time and get info on trail conditions to see if any are closed and to find out if they have a list of "volunteers" they recommend for trail leads. You never know, there may one or two willing to help.

Jeep runs one of the Academies there as well as one of the Jamborees each year.

I would love to join in on the fun, but I am not sure how well a stock JTR would fair on some of the trails out there.

Perfectly fine! I am almost stock, LCA skids and 35's. These trucks can do amazing things. Come on out and give it a try. We will help spot, and I bring up the tail so nobody gets left behind. Plus it looks like there are enough of us going that if we have to split off for a couple of trails we can.

@TheOpa BMJA is getting together at AOAA on Saturday and Elff should be there with them he told me.

Anybody know these places enough to lead? There are e-maps etc. but that is beyond me.

Also, one day or two, which park or both? I was thinking AOAA on Saturday simply because BMJA will be there and some people might be interested in joining. It is also Krawlin for K9's at AOAA that day. So there might be more traffic, but an opportunity to support a good cause if you are interested.

I will already be in PA the weekend before, and the fall is crazy in my house, but I an VERY interested. Plus my son wants to take his TJ too, so that's even more reason to show up.

I'm not even a maybe yet, but I am really thinking about it.

Jacob, I run a stock Mojave, have been at Rausch Creek but not AQAA , but had a great time, I am not lifted or big tires on mine so relax if you show up we can just go off and kick ass stock. I am skidded though and that’s a good idea, including a hitch skid….Jack

Yea I feel you on the mindset that they can do a lot. I have done the BoH trail Peters Mill and was in 2Hi 90% of the time. But that is about it for non pavement driving in the JT. I used to have a JK and TJ that I went to MOAB in so I have a decent amount of experience, just not in this new truck with all its bells and whistles. Since there will be other mostly stock JT's we will be there!
