Yes, I use the HF Badlands 3/4" shackles

The XHD brackets stick out from the grille at the junction to the fender by about 9.3 inches.

Got the Teraflex D-ring brackets today to put on the Arcus. They are beefy!!

Keep an eye out for rust on those washers. Mine rusted pretty bad after less than a month. Swapped them out for some yellow zinc washers.

What size are they?

I would imagine that it will be pretty hard to keep a strap on the hook like that.

If you decide to get a different shackle mount, these are Teraflex.

The Rugged Ridge mounts don't project out far enough to clear the bumper shell when using a regular steel shackle.

I got the Teraflex shackles delivered but realized after the face you mentioned you had to cut something on the bumper in order to use them?

Use a metal cutting Sawzall blade

Cut the raised circular nib* off the back of the TF shackle mount ( spray with some Rustoleum ) so it will sit flush with the frame horn

Enlarge the Arcus Shell / Bumper cover notches so the shell will sit flush on the sloped part of the TF shackle mount face

I just followed the existing lines of the opening and widened the uppermost narrow part

Make sure to paint all the exposed areas of the cuts

I bolted the TF SM to th frame horn by 2 of the 4 holes to hold it while I cut the nib off the back

is this the nib you cut off On the teraflex?

Yes, it won't sit flush against the frame horn if you don't remove it

I hung it off 1 side of the frame horn to keep it steady while cutting

Yes, I use the Diablo / Red colored ones from Home Depot

finally got the arcus and winch installed. Decided I didn’t want to mess with the teraflex cutting the nubs off and also test fitted the Rugged ridge version (see pic) but not being able to use a normal shackle was not ideal due to the Arcus outer bump.

Luckily the Arcus tusks when installed fit in my garage so just went that route and saved a few bucks. Like the look.

A quick chop with a sawzall blade removed the humps from the Arcus cover so the XHD mounts would work.
