Me too. Mine will take longer as it has to get to California. What color is yours? Mine is primered so I can paint the top in kevlar like the roof.

I recently contacted them and they indicated it was in development stages. Local dealer was no help.

Yes, ordered mine from Fuller Truck Accessories. I will say I am talking on FB with ARE so I have known the time lines etc. My order is ( Cx Classic, the front slider, free interior carpet upgrade, outdoorsman windows, yakima rails and primered) Total was around $1900.

I ordered Paint matching Black, Sliding side windows and standard rear. When they called today they wanted to know if I had the bed tracks as apparently they are made different. The model is CX classic.

So just a recap the ARE CX was just released yesterday and is available for ordering. I am one of the largest ARE dealers on the east coast. All caps are built per order. they do not have these caps sitting on the shelf. so do not expect to get one quickly. Retail (starting) cost for a ARE CX classic series (at my stores) is $1950.00. lead times are below that is copied and pasted directly from ARE's dealer portal.

Current Lead Times: Fiberglass: 4-6 weeks; Aluminum: 3-5 weeks
DoubleCover: 2-4 weeks A.R.E. truck / 1 week FedEx; Fusion: 3-5 weeks
(Sparks, NV serviced dealers: add 1 week to the above)

cx at fullers starts at $1600.00 plus tax, plus installation. 185$ per side for outdoorsman windows, $75-125 for front slider, roof rack tracks only $225.00. your around $2300.00 not including tax, labor, or any other options like lighting, etc..

Has anyone heard if there is another manufacturer working on one?

I’d sure like to have frameless side windows.

assuming you got a basic CX series. $1600.00 for the cap and $95 labor. if I really was trying to push a deal $1600.00 would be the lowest starting price I would go. that would be a whole sale cost at roughly 20% over dealer cost. which no dealer in their right mind would go below that margin.
