Man...that's more the reason why I'm trying to get a diesel Glady discounted at my local dealer. I already own BMW IX EV and I can tell ya I'm not sold on electric yet. If anything, anything with a battery becomes a disposable and thats why on EV, they only cover battery warranty till 100k and after that, any recharge issue becomes the customers problem and a full battery replacement will cost like $20k (on the bmw). Not to mention on open freeway with load, 4 adullts and trunk full of suiitcases, the EV range goes downhill real quick (once ya speed past 70mph). It's worse than a V8 at that point.
Once everybody goes to hybrids and EV, nobody will ever own these vehicles past 80k (or after factory warranty). No more of those good ole days of keeping a truck till it runs to the ground

And unfortuantely, the same now applies to modern diesel with emissions..the engines will last but the emissions and egr will fail once past 100k.
